Perry Mason is the longest lawyer series which ran as American TV series for consecutively nine years, was premiered first on 21st of September 1957 to 4th of September 1966. The whole series comprised of 271 episodes. This character was played by an actor named as Raymond Burr. He serves as a fictional defense attorney, and originally appeared in a detective fiction by Erle Stanley Gardner.
Perry Mason's series was built from a novel by Stanley Gardner; the novel was about a brilliant defense lawyer and his teammates, who solved many crimes with their smart detective ability and surprise witnesses. Most of the cases were solved by key confessions of witnesses, solicited by legal tricks of Perry Mason or with surprising evidence brought into courtroom by a private detective Paul Drake. Other teammate of Mason is his secretary Della Street. She was a beautiful and faithful secretary who serves always at Perry's side in courtroom and is also depicted in some episodes that she was a romantic interest of Perry. Mason served as a defense attorney against a district attorney named as Hamilton Burger, who eventually loses all cases against Mason.
For all the episodes the basic plot essentially remains the same. In first half the murder victim is shown, and all the clues points towards one person who is taken under trial for murder case, and seem to be the murderer throughout first half, but Mason's does the investigation with Paul Drake and finds the real culprit. He finally proves his client to be innocent by spectacularly signifying guilt of another character.
